Yesterday there was a guy with $2,500 in red in a 20-40 game. Wouldn't sell any chips and I had to give this guy green. Awesome.

No, not at all. But $1000 in $1 chips seems pretty assanine, too.

I always thought chip denominations were universal. I've never been to a casino where $1 were anything but white.

A little over 7 racks of blue for me. I generally stack in pyramids with 300 on the bottom and 200 in the middle. Once I go 3 stories I get the feeling that players are a little pissed. Kind of like hey buddy what are you trying to prove? So When I hit 500 chips I usually color 3 racks down.
