Default 25NL - Bottom set on drawy board for 120BB

Villain is 50/10/.84 over 82 hands.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

Hero (MP): $45
CO: $29.45
BTN: $31.70
SB: $75.30
BB: $13.60
UTG: $25.90

Pre-Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (MP)
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.85, CO folds, BTN calls $0.85, SB calls $0.75, BB folds

Flop: ($2.80) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2.80, BTN raises to $5.60, SB folds, Hero calls $2.80

Given his agression factor I really dont think he's raising draws here (maybe only a combo draw) and I can see JT being a huge part of his range here. My plan was to just call and see if he slows down on a brick turn.

Turn: ($14) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $3.75, Hero folds

I'm not sure about the turn I'm getting just over 1:4 odds here, and I have 10 outs which is just under 1:4. But factoring in implied odds (I'm not sure if he would stack off though, although I could probably get a few more dollars out of him on the river if I hit) I think I should have made this call.

This fold you made is horrendous. You have pot odds to call here assuming he has a straight. Above that, you are getting money out of this guy on the river. Someone with that low of an AF just bet into you so Im assuming he likes his hand alot.

you have to call turn...ure getting more than enough odds to fill up. i raise the flop here...you cant just let more scare cards come for free wtf...anyone agree with me....i pop his ass on the flop to $20 and see what he does

You are getting closer to 5:1 and you have pot odds to make a full house, not to mention implied odds and the possibility that you already have the best hand. Folding here is terrible. And raise this flop every time.

Yeah turn is beyond horrible, I don't know what I was thinking.

I am I putting anymore money in on the river if I don't hit?

I'm still not sure whether to raise flop. If I raise it up to $20 I have to call a push, I don't think there is a point raising it up to "see what he does"

Shove flop. As played, call turn for immediate pot odds.

imo he has a naked queen or some other hand that takes this line and folds to the 3bet often enough to make this raise +ev. yeah u cant fold if he has the straight, but oh well,i dont think anyone has it often enough to slowdown a set

I am raising this flop against every villain because he could have a hand that is worse than ours easily. If a scare card peels off on the turn it just killed your hand/action. If he shoves its probably JT but at that point you have to call anyway. I would be making it around 17 or so on the flop so there is no getting away after that.

Go broke on the flop.

Edit: And like everyone else said, after you failed to do this, turn fold was burning $$$.
