the question is how tight he's been 3betting. If he's 3betting light, this is an easy shove.

Actually, I think this is a shove anyway with no overcards to our pair. The thing we do need to worry about is the button behind us. How well does he play? (I realize you say he folded, but we still need to talk about the reads you've got on him.)

From what i've seen of 5c/10cNL, most people don't tend to 3-bet anything but aces and kings pre-flop, and so I probably fold preflop rather than having to play against a 3-bettor and possibly the button as well (also noting that 5c/10cNL players call 3-bets loosely).

Look, I don't want to tell you what to do on this board, cause I don't know the villain, but:

If you call this preflop 3-bet, you are not getting set odds (you need about 11-1 for that), so you are playing your hand as an overpair. Maybe you want to fold now because you think he might have QQ+, but if you think that now, try to think that before the flop and fold. Only call this preflop if you think there's a good shot your JJ is best, and if you think that, then this is a flop you want to shove on. Do you see?

Those are almost my exact stats, though it at NL50. In SB I would say my re-raising range here is 99+, AQo+. Given his aggression we are good against that range. Push.

Ehhh, those are almost MY exact stats at NL50 and I raise JJ+, AQ+. So I don't think this is cut-and-dried.

PS: I can see reraising TT, but with TT/99 it seems like, a. Most boards are scary, and
b. If you get called preflop and then called or raised on the flop (even one you wanted, all rags), you have to worry about your hand a lot. What are you looking for with these hands except preflop victory/a c-bet takedown? How do you play them once things get call-y?
