No IMO. Very rarely.

I double barrel here a lot, but I'm really not sure it's right - the board hasn't got scarier and we haven't picked up additional outs. Usually I prefer one of those 2 things to be the case to db (or stuff like villain never folding to cb's or villain being a known floater).

So I think we are banking on villain folding a pp here a lot or are hoping he's on a float, which I think is pretty rare and should probably not be assumed of an unknown.

So I'm not 100% sure about the db.

But if I double barrel here I think I go a smidge more on turn. $8.75 makes more of a statement I think.

What about like a $6.5 blocking bet here?....maybe unpaired cards or even 77 or w/e will fold, but more so it means hero won't have to face a bigger bet after checking...?
