Prizes:
1: $480

Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
2 folds, Hero..?

Fold, Raise (how much)/Call, Raise (how much)/Fold or Push?

I have a pretty loose image, not much restealing has been going on.

Fwiw I normally play more expensive tournaments and are def going for 1st place.

Raise to 800 and fold to a shove is how I'd play it.

Edit: oops, didn't see it was the bubble, just shove then.

If you're going for 1st and don't care about bubbling and/or 5th or what not, push to 1200. I think this is a pretty standard bubble abuse play being CO. The big stacks all folded so I think a raise/steal here is fine and even if you get a call, you're not dead in the water.

I'm curious as to why you raise 800? Raising 2.5BB in the CO just screams weak ace or king trying to steal IMO. I think if you're going to raise, try and make it look like it's something decent.

800 is what I usually raise at 150/300, why would I change it because my hand sucks. However, since we're on the bubble I'm fine with just shoving.

Well, we differ then definitely. If I'm sitting in the BB or SB and wake up with say A9 and I have someone raising 2.5BB, I'm limping in because that screams weak ace or king rag especially in the CO. Shoving is fine, but I think raising 1200 is better, even if you get one limper you've got flush possibilities and then shove if any ace comes basically.

Are you raising to 1200 with AA?

Also, not to be rude, but if you're defending your blinds against me by calling my raises with marginal hands OOP I'm gonna get the best of you more often than not.

Correct, but I think this is very different being on the bubble. People won't call marginal hands when raised to 1200 IMO unless they have AA/KK.

As for calling a push, I probably would..pot committed with flush draws and it'd be very possible they would have KQ-K10 type of hands.

its important in these situations to beforehand be aware vs what players you should call the push or not.
