Default 20/180 - 22 in bb with UTG raise and SB call

From memory.

14 or so left. I've just doubled up shoving AQ UTG previous hand. I have 12k after posting. UTG and SB barely cover. 500/1000, whatever the antes are. No particular reads.

UTG raises to 3000, folds to SB who calls. I am in BB with 22 and?

I'd fold here! UTG will probably call with a big chunk of his raising range, and even if he folds, SB gets 2 to 1 on a call. If you had like 15-16K I'd like a shove more...

I think I was probably deeper, actually. Let's say 15-16 before posting. Apologies for no HH.

So calling is out?

Thought so initially, but when I think about it and with updated information, calling is fine. There's a pretty big chance at least one of your opponents will take a shot at the pot on the flop and thereby pot-commit themselves, so if you hit a set you're in good shape. Shoving is probably better if UTG is able to lay down some of the mid/semi-high pockets in his raising range.

I don't like the call in the BB... I'd just fold. With 22 you're 50% with most hands... and with his range could be alot worse. I don't like shoving either... Remember the gap concept.

I'm calling. You're getting like 6:1 on your call, and chances are very good you will get your stack in if you hit your set.

Unless i'm missin something the pot has a little less than 8k and its 2k for you to call making it just under 4:1.

Folding > Shoving > Calling imo

Call because folding sucks and pushing sucks.
