Default A8o 3bet pot

Villain is TAG, been stealing quite a bit, no 3bet history between us. I don't have enough hands to give you exact stats, but he's def not a nit. I feel like if I'm raising this river I should be shoving it. Thoughts?

If you havent been 3-betting him a ton, why not just bet the flop or turn?

The turn is a bigger question, but the flop is very much a WA/WB situation with most of his range and I don't expect to get more than one street of value out of an underpair.

i often play the flop and the turn the same, but a river call is much better. hes bluffing or has you beat most of the time he's betting.

What worse hands are calling that river raise? What better ones are folding?

Checking the flop for pot control/deception is fine sometimes, but just bet the turn then if you check the flop.

I'd bet the flop here and fold to a raise.

Bet the turn - Call river - Raising the river is completely horrible - what was your thinking behind this?

This is fine if you call the river. Raise is no good unless you have some goofy image.

there's plenty of possible draws on the flop to get value out of. I'd like the rvr better if there wasn't trips possible.
