Default Early AK in Nightly 100K

How bad? I've found myself being sort of annoyingly passive early recently. Better line? River bet ok?

Only 6th hand, so no reads obv

I'd bet bigger on the river, like 550 or something.

Also, this is one of the rare spots where early on and deep stacks i like a 3 bet pre with AK. With a limper and the guy only going 3X it's going to be so multi way if you flat so often.

3bet pre

Listen to lilholdem's cardplayer interview for why (basically define your opponents range better)

Bomb that river.

Preflop is fine, reraising is really bad unless you know they're calling you with AQ.

Gobbo, it's the stuper on a friday night. Players are pretty bad.

I super rarely 3 bet AK pre at these stacks, but this is one spot i like it better.

The 3-bet is best with the limp and raise. Also, if people are going to give you credit for a big hand, you often take thepot on a low flop. If they are loose donks, they call with weaker aces.

In general, I don't think one should be tight about reraising at level 1, although AK is not always thebest hand to do it with. Either people will give you loose action, or they will give the reraise respect, in which case you can steal pots preflop or postflop by playing this way.

Take it up to 230 pre. As played, on river check/call <= ~1/3 pot bet.
