I like that one episode that had the drunk redneck wearing a stained wife beater getting beat up by his 400lb wife. Then the cops come in and beat on him. Then they find a meth lab in the shed in the back yard.
Yea, that's a classic episode.

no more than 4 inches in length and 2 inches above the scalp. 3/4 inch max on the sides. There are spatial regulations on hairstyle. No "fad" styles or sideburns

Some police departments have a requirement for haircuts. They consider themselves the civilian military. I know the KY State Police are basically the Army without the cool camo uniforms......and tanks.
