[ QUOTE ]
why, oh why didn't we bet the flop? if we do, we figure out if villain has KK or AA. I also agree with cs, we need to raise the turn here.
by c/ flop, and c/c the turn, we've obtained just about no information about villain's strength, as well as shown considerable weakness.

As played, call. A 10 as well as JJ would push here. However, JJ would probably bet the flop

[/ QUOTE ]

We don't get info on the flop, he's check/shoving a much wider range that AA-KK and I sure as hell don't feel like bet/folding. I don't care about showing weakness because given villains preflop line he rarely if ever holds air here. JJ is never donkbetting the flop and is unlikely to push the river. Your post is bad.

Its 100NL, you were the Pre-Flop 3Better, you are IP, it is 6 max, the flop is draw heavyish, you are HU, you have an over-pair thats well above the highest board card. We are betting this flop 100% of the time, no?

[/ QUOTE ]

not saying you can't get it all in here, but try thinking about the other guys hand first.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, I was thinking about the other guys hand, WTF?

The reason I wrote 'we' is because OP already made his choice, and chose to check. 'We' the readers, are asked how we would play it, I can't think of one good reason to check this flop, sorry. Yet I can think of many reasons to bet, chief amonug them is that we have the initiative, its 6-max, and we are HU. I can't see how checking this flop is +EV.

Buddy, give villain a range on the flop, and on the turn. That's what the post was getting at. You were kinda looking at our hand in an absolute sense (overpair = good!) as opposed to it's relative strength against our opponents range, which is what's really important.

vilain s range :TT+ ,AK
standard ,why on earth do you check flop i mean come on if he has AA or KK u think u can get away from it??or how u trying to c a K or an A on turn to be able to fold.U made it so much more difficult than it need to be.Now u have no clue if ur oponenent is betting because u represented huge weakness or if he has u crushed...I have no clue either.

Ok, the obvious answer is TT+ (maybe 99), I know that. But, I know alot more when I see how he reacts to a flop bet. No way am I 3Betting, then shutting down on the flop here, ever. I don't need a fold here very often to make this a profitable play, and, I need to find out where I'm at, and checking won't cut it.

Why are we trying to get him to fold again? Why can't we just have 23o if that's the plan?

So you want to bet/fold? I'm sorry but that's absolutely terrible.
