I thought the magic number for any two suited was 7:1 no?

Thanks for posting that, Oink. Are there any situations where you fold? Say tight TAG UTG raises and gets coldcalled by a tightie, or a 30/6 open raises? I imagine it doesn't matter unless the chance of being against a pocket pair is much higher? Also what about a hand like 65o, are you pretty much always calling getting 5:1 or greater?

I ran a stove for the flop before posting this, and I think we have pretty crappy equity, but I'm glad to see others agree with how I played it:

That's what I'd do. I also go with 7-1 in the BB. I don't think it's standard unless you like variance.

pf is fine, but I probably just chuck this on the flop. those guys are pretty aggro and just about any spade, paint, or straight card on the turn pretty much sucks for us. I think I end up calling down with the worst hand or folding the best hand too often to 3-ball this on the flop. For you guys that play better than me you can probably get aggro with it and not make too many mistakes, but I don't think I play well enough in these spots for a 3-bet to be the best play.

PF is I dunno, I just do what stoxtrader tells me. But I pitch 3 handed, call 4.

Flop is an easy tree bet.
Turn is a call bceause he likely has an overpair.. even a gainst a set you have 4 chop outs.

Can you experienced veterans please tell me how a flop 3-bet is a good idea and not a spew when there's proven aggression on both sides of me already? Or is this just a byproduct of a 10/20 game playing completely differently than 2/4 and 1/2?

Teach me, wise ones.

mp is c-betting almost 100% (this is default). so it's one piece of aggression on a draw-heavy board and a 3-bet gives us position on the aggressor (assuming MP folds overs)

It is trash, but i don think what the card value is really matters. someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt the 7:1 the odds of flopping, Two pair, trips, or 4+ to a flush? Doesnt really matter ho wmany pips are on the cards when those are the only flops you're playing for

My first thought was fold too and then I saw that it was 10/20. Basically, mp bets with whatever he raised with pf and sb raises with any pair and most draws. We're ahead too often to fold and we cant let mp see the turn for 1 bet with overcards, so we 3 bet.
