Default KK to turn raise

I was not sure where I was in this spot. It seems whenever I get raised on the turn I am behind. Thoughts?

Ultimate Bet - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $17.10
BB: $18.55
Hero (UTG): $60.60
MP: $48.95
CO: $19.90
BTN: $52.25

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 Players)
Hero raises to $1.75, 2 folds, BTN calls $1.75, 2 folds

Flop: ($4.25) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $3.85, BTN calls $3.85

Turn: ($11.95) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $8.00, BTN raises to $24.00, Hero???

If your looking at Baluga this is a fold right?

If not, could you explain why.

According to baluga this is a total fold. He has slowplayed a set or str8 or something. You're not ahead here often enough to make a call or raise +EV so clearly fold.

I despise how people just blindly follow some theorem, oh balugla says this so we should fold so I should fold etc

Anyway in this case I fold

Would you prefer if people instead just bothered to write something like "In general, against unknown players (or unremarkable players), 1-pair hands tend to be no good when facing turn raises (especially on scary boards), and because hero will likely be faced with the ability to make an even bigger mistake on the river in this situation, a fold is generally in order in said situation." ??

(Cause I don't really mind just seeing "consider x theorem; probably a fold")

OP: fold. standard.

I am not talking about people just typing it, that doesn't bother me. I am talking about the mindset behind it and how they blindly follow a theorem and say well Balugla says this so I have to fold irrespective of the situation.
