I wonder if this will be the last one?

Last night on one of the talk shows -- not sure if it was Letterman or the Daily Show -- Damon said they had not shot another one, were not working on another one and he is not sure whether he would do another one. He did say that the director (or producer) has been joking about a fourth one being called "The Bourne Redundancy."

Is there much of the shaky cam effect like the 2nd one? In some movies I can handle it, but it pretty much ruined Supremacy for me.

i don't know anything about the book series... is there several more centering around this character?

Is this going to be like Bond.... am I going to be telling my grand-kids about seeing the original Bourne in theaters when I was younger... I can see it now, February 2062, Bourne 22, coming to a theater near you...

[/ QUOTE ]

I believe Ludlum wrote this as a trilogy, and has since died. However, someone else took over and has written some Bourne novels. I haven't read them, so I cannot comment on their quality vs. the original author.

[/ QUOTE ]

I read "Robert Ludlum's Bourne Legacy", which was written by someone else after his death. It was absolutely horrible. Ludlum's books got pretty bad towards the end, and the this one just took all of those bad storytelling habits to a awful new level.

But the movies have diverged off onto completely different storyline since 30 minutes into the first one, so at this point they are really just borrowing the book names anyway. If Ultimatum is a big enough hit, they can always make more.

Pretty sure. Supremacy and Ultimatum are by the same director.

I'll be so happy when this finally dies. Most beaten to death hack visual cliche ever.
