Default Razorback OC Gus Malzahn to Tulsa

ESPN

I doubt many here will care about this story.

I just wanted to put it on record.

Houston Nutt will drive the Arkansas football program right into the dungheap to serve his own bloated ego.

He had a shot at greatness this year, couldn't keep his [censored] finger out of the pie and settled for just above mediocrity. This with the best RB tandem in college football.

If he had let Gus, who bore the title "Offensive Coordinator" after all, run the offense and kept his ass out of it, I'm convinced the Hogs would have hosted the Sugar Bowl as SEC champions this year.

The Hogs instead lose to Wisky in a game where players' mommies dictated playing time.

[censored] you, Nutt. I so wish you'd taken the Nebraska job. I'm sure they sigh with relief in Lincoln when they realize what might have happened.

Hops, feel free to weigh in with word on campus. Tell me I'm [censored] up if I need it. How are the students taking this?

Maybe this will help Auburn get Ziemba. This is not good news for Arkansas. Mitch Mustain to Tulsa as well?

Sorry. Bottom line:

Arkansas AD Frank Broyles: Senile control freak.

Arkansas Head Coach Houston Nutt: good ole boy egomaniac control freak.

Arkansas former Offensive Coordinator Gus Malzhan: Brilliant (albeit rookie) offensive tactician; effed over by above names, gone.

Arkansas former All-American HS QB Mitch Mustain: questionable return.

Arkansas prospects for 2007 season: dim.

You are correct. There was an angry mob around here (including myself) once reports surfaced that Steve Pedersen was going to hire Nutt as the new Husker HC. Sounds like you guys are enjoying the direction Nutt's taking your program.

I still have no idea how Pedersen luckboxed into hiring Bill Callahan.

Btw, it's pretty amazing that Malzahn was a high school coach less than 2 years ago, and now he's a D1 head coach. Unreal.

This is incorrect isn't it? The way I read this Malzahn is going to Tulsa as the Offensive coordinator.

Mustain has now followed Malzhan to Tulsa.

Nutt: "I've told all the players, if they want their release, we'll grant their release."
