Default JJ with a low flop

Villan is a nit, 17/13/5 after about 70 hands and I haven't really gotten into any pots with him.

I wouldn't declare that Villain is a nit after that small a sample. You could easily be looking at a 12/8 or a 29/23 over the long haul.

And I'd probably muck here; you beat a bluff and you beat a semi-bluff.

I'd call and reevaluate the turn, AK/AQ can make this bet a lot here into you.

If that's the solution, why call pre-flop at all? Just for set value? If that's the case, this is -EV.

If he's real nit, more like with pfr under 10, folding pf is fine. If he's like 18/14 or whatever, need to figure out if he's raising alot in position or if he rr steals a good amount. If he rr a lot, calling is fine pf, but you have to know he bombs flop everytime, so if you call pf, call flop.

Pretty much the only reason to call this flop is to see if he follows up with another bet on the turn, if he does we're almost always beat here. If he doesn't however than that means we are suddenly ahead a surprisingly large amount of the time and that it was just overs making a cbet into the flop.
