OP, are you are programmer?

I have never heard anyone use the word queue to describe a line (although it is correct). I once used the word queue in Scrabble, and no one even beleived it was a real word.

It's also extremely common in the UK, and is used almost exclusively instead of "line". "Queue up" means "get in line".
