Default O\'Sheas

I just read that O'Shea's is now spreading a $1-$5 Holdem game with a MAX buy in of $100,

Why would you have a Max buyin in this game. Am I missing something or is there a manager on crack involved in this?

Of course some other casino will get wind of this and decide to have a $20 max on the $2-$4 game.

If your information is right, there is no logical reason to have a capped buy-in.

O'Shea's has two poker tables right next to the sidewalk on the Strip. I've never seen a cash game played on them. I've only seen SNGs played and that's rare.

Isn't 1-5 kind of a strange structure for LHE? What blinds? The 100 buy-in is weird, but you can still cap all streets with $80.

They may be limiting the buy in because they're short of $1 chips. It sounds stupid, but I've seen it happen.

This is O'Sheas we're talking about. Does anyone really think they're going to be playing there when they come to town? ROFLMAO

I think it would be great to play at O'Sheas. Their poker 'room' is two tables right on the strip.

Just sit there, play 1-5 spread and drink beer while watching tourists walk by?

Sounds great to me.

Which "tourists" are you watching?

Marge from Sheboygan or Kandii from L.A.?
