Default Satellite Only First Place Wins - Adjustments?

9 player SNG only first wins anything. 3000 starting chips, blinds increase every 10 mins, Full Tilt blind structure.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the best way to play this? Is it worth taking more risks earlier to try and build a stack or is it best to stick to a tight early strategy? Thanks in advance for any insights.

You only need to be concerned with chip equity.

Since there is no benefit to survival, just chip accumulation, you should press any edge you can. This means playing looser early and adjusting your shoves later.
