As someone who has had Many teeth chipped and has had several false teeth put in, I strongly suggest you make a normal appointment with your dentist, who will then make an appointment for you with a tooth specialist in this area. It's no big deal just go see your dentist.

Depends on extent of crack (how deep into tooth, how near or below gumline).

Go see a dentist.
