Re: 100NL, BvB Nut flush draw bluff
i dont like this against an unknown on a paired board. looks spewy to me. but bluffing is an art, if it felt right at the time, go with it.

Speeeewwwwwwwww!
You are turning a reasonable drwang hand with still some outs into a bluff. If you lead the flop - instead of trying to check-raise - you have to lead the turn, too. |

Re: 100NL, BvB Nut flush draw bluff
U need a strong read that villain likes to float if this is gonna be a good play IMO. If you have a accurate read that this is the case, then this play is teh sex. Readless it is -EV I think.

Re: 100NL, BvB Nut flush draw bluff
Yeah, pretty sure leading again is much better here. A good player should see though this move 100% of the time because I'm pretty much never CR/AI on this turn with a Jack, so I can't really rep anything or balance my range if I want to keep doing this.
I just find I get floated a [censored] ton in BvB spots by TAGs and donks alike, got kind of sick of it. Double barreling is def a better solution. |
