browser issues
about half an hour ago my internet connection died for about 5-10 minutes. after it was reestablished, i can not see any graphics or ads on any of the sites that i visit. ex: on this site i cannot many of the banners that should line the right margin of the forum pages. also, i cannot see any sort of streaming video. anyone have any idea what the problem is?

1st, restart the computer
2nd, try an alternate browser... Opera/FireFox 3rd, download hijack this and run it, remove anything that looks fishy all for now, report back

thanks, i restarted the comp and now everything is fine. i didn't give any specifics, but do you have any idea regarding what was wrong?
edit: also, what is hijack this?
