Default To play or to not play

Should a guy who attempts to think about the right plays and only cares about final table money ever enter a tourney that:
costs $35 out of your $200 buyin
starts at 25/50 and 4 grand in chips to start
binds double and antes begin at the 400/800 level
it is essentially ends up a push/fold game unless you get on a run and accumulate.
plus the staff bites ass.
but, it's the only game in town.

Bad business/or worth the occasional shot?

You're talking about a 33% rake and a structure that will make it hard to have a big edge even over terrible opponents. I'd be surprised if your EV were more than a few dollars, so if you play this, it should be primarily for entertainment.

20 min. levels.

I agree with Foucault, and it is so annoying that it is hard to be entertained. Guess I knew the answer.
