Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour

I used to work in a Farrell's, it was my first job and paid $1.60 (that's right $1.60 an hour, but that was when money meant something!) an hour. I loved working there and scooping ice cream and getting to eat as much ice cream as we could sneak in the back room!

My favorite memory was when we stole (borrowed I meant) a case of whipped cream cans. We spent the evening driving around asking people for directions and when they came up to the car we "whipped" them...Good times!

My favorite, even better than the zoo, was the Pig's Trough, a double banana split in a trough...Very Good Times...Ah, the memories!
