Default 100NL live, BB with QQ -- what\'s the plan?

100NL, live, 10-handed

Hero (~$50)
Villain (~$55)
SB has both covered, but not by much.

(Ignore the stupidity of not buying back to $100 yet.)

Hero is tight aggressive. Has shown down mainly decent hands or bet opponents off draws.

Villain is more LAG. Raises pre-flop often. Has been caught c-betting with nothing and chasing.

Folds to Villain on button who raises to $5.

SB calls. (SB will call with suited connectors, maybe one-gappers, small pocket pairs, Ax if x is >10 or maybe if suited, etc.)

Hero is in the BB with QQ.

Call, re-raise, or push? If you raise, to what?

Raise to $25 or push, this would be an auto $25 raise w/ a full stack but with a short stack you almost have to push, but you really hate to push that much. Stay full!

(Sorry for not ignoring the full stack error)

Online I'd raise to $25 and expect to get it in on most flops if called.

Live, I'd just push and expect to get called by both players.

Great. Thanks, everyone. I was berated for this hand. I re-raised to $20 (should have been more, but this was a homegame, and the raises weren't as crazy as some live games I've seen).

Villain pushed, SB folded, I called, of course. Villain has AA. Flop was monotone spades with a Q. He had the As, but my set held up

One person couldn't believe I called the push, but she knows nothing, really. (Calls almost everything pre-flop and will chase any draw and call down with middle pair -- love her!)

Would anything change if I were the button (same relative positions) and the blinds had us covered? Is that just an easy push?

Sorry, Landlord, I was getting ready to buy back up, seriously!

Given stack sizes and your read on villain as LAG there's no way you should ever get away from this.

You can safely ignore any advice you hear at any table, anywhere.

I would probably have gone all-in preflop given your stack size but either way it's going in preflop or on flop. No way I could get away from this hand either, based on your reads.
