What is your opinion of 9 player STT's as compared to 10 player STT's, both paying 50%-30%-20%?

Do any of you know whether Tribeca rooms (Doyle's, Victor Chandler, Golden Palace, et al), which I believe have 9 player STT's, have timed blind level increases or hand count blind level increases? I looked at the Doyle's Room website but could only find the 9 player business, nothing about blinds or starting chips.
