I think my favorite internet post of all time was something very similar. There was a flame war going on about something stupid, and the mod made this long, rambling post to whine about the lack of civility and decency and wonder why people couldn't just debate an issue without getting all personal, etc. "Can't we all just get along?" The first reply was "Eat a dick you fascist."

Once for 2 days. I posted a nsfw joke pic without the nsfw warning because it would have ruined the joke. I knew the second after I clicked "Ok, submit" that I screwed up and would probably be reprimanded.
