Although I'll admit there aren't that many hands he could have that he limp called from EP that beat us. TT, AA, AJ, ATs, JTs? I think he'd raise JJ and AK. He could have AQ, but that's fairly unlikely to, because he'll usually raise that up as well preflop and of course we have an A and a Q. But, even with that limited range, I just don't think people get out of line on flops like this very often. If they do, fine. I don't mind folding this marginal spot, because this type of flop hits your isolation range so hard that if he's messing around he's just going to spew a tonne to you later.

Definitely fold preflop. On the button I wouldn't hate a call.
I would also raise a smaller amount on the flop. mebbe $5. Since he's a donk and if he's folding to $8.5 he'll fold for $5.5.

not sure what position you're in, assuming utg, so I fold pf.
as played calling min bet on flop is ok I guess, anything more is an easy fold. Def fold turn, if you hit a flush it may not be best, if you hit str8 you're in great shape, but I think villain's bet is pricing you out of calling... fold

I'm down 11BIs in two days and 3,5k hands. So far I've had one winning month after July. I spend a whole lot of time on this game. I even got expensive (for me) coaching. All the facts are saying "quit this game and move on to something you enjoy".
If I decide to take one more stab at this game, what would be the thing that could change me into a winning (well... more than 1ptbb/100) player? Some point me to the magic bullet ok thanks. EDIT: lol im so naive

[/ QUOTE ] Pretty sucky. Sounds like the kind of guy who could have JT here. Maybe he even has air sometimes. Two overcard spades is about the worst hand he could have for you. You are about 50/50 against his made hands. I don't like calling. You can't fold. Even though you don't have much FE, you have to push IMO.
