You are both pot-committed with 1600 in the pot after his re-raise. Shove is your only move now. You'll see Ax with a club here enough times to justify getting it all in.

BTW, I really dislike the 1/2 pot raise after his check. Push the turn when he checks or if you have a real solid read on him, just check behind and see a free river card.

I'm having a lot of trouble putting him on a hand that could sensibly play this way and that you are ahead of.

What is worse, despite the inviting pot odds, the hands that I do put him on preclude your flush draw being any good so the pot odds aren't enough.

I fold.

You did not indicate anything out of the ordinary about how tricky he is or that he bluffs too much. I'm also assuming nothing out of the ordinary about your own table image either.

Er, I'm not advocating a shove because we're going to be in brilliant shape if called, I'm saying a shove because he's likely raising wide and we take it down pre a lot
