opponent is 60/25/1.3 over 20 hands I'm new to the

standard???

I 3-bet the flop and call down if he caps it. I don't like your line because if he checks behind on the turn with a flush/straight draw, this hand has turned into a travesty.

a - people keep betting draws hu
b - how is it a travesty if he checks behind? less than ideal but it's only .8 ish bets?

Yeah almost no body checks behind HU nowadays especially a guy with his stats. I'll let you guys guess what he had.

Cap flop, bet/call turn, check/call river unimproved.

Or if he doesn't raise the turn:

Cap flop, bet turn, bet/fold river unimproved.

Of course, if you spike another A or hit a Q at any time that doesn't complete a flush, jam some more money in.

My standard play is to 3-bet flop. As I said in another thread, if I'm in position, I'd be more likely to wait for the turn.
