If someone wanted to prop up your bankroll for a share in your $$.....
My current situation is this - my BR is ~$4,000 however I am currently playing 25NL online - as I play live aswell (so dont have all my $ online) and I have just got back to playing online after a 2.5 month brake so I thought I'd start at the bottom and fix some of the leaks in my game.
A friend is offering donate $2,000 to my BR for a share of the profits, stopping once he has received $2,000 back in profit - so he is taking one third of the risk so should I be giving him one third of the profits? Is this the ratio that is wise? or should I be trynig to get a better deal? Does any one have any other advise - is it even worth me doing this - as I am not going to suddenly play 100NL just because I have the BR for it? |

Re: If someone wanted to prop up your bankroll for a share in your $$.
Unless you are a super lagtard and for some reason having 240 buy-ins vs 160 will make you much more likely to suceed, don't bother. The only time you should seek out this kind of deal is when you want to move up and want some padding in your BR.

Doesn't make sense to do this.
Also, news, views, or gossip? Probably belongs in Internet Gambling or Beginners Questions or something. |
