pokey,
notice i was refering to barry's post. if we donk turn, villan raises, we...?
i think this is a fold most times, though i'm sure its very close and stacking off would not be too big of a mistake, if at all.

1.) that would be 100% wrong here
2.) we don't want him to fold AK... we are a coinflip for the whole hand, but not the flop
3.) we don't want over calls with QQ, more relevant if we had AA-KK
4.) maaaybe, but i don't see that in the villains 2 agg factor
5.) mixing it up to get respect for our overcalls??? i'm sorry, but that is a waste of time

most of the time smoothcalling preflop with QQ is only ok given frequent squeezers or some weird stack size situation. i dont see that here

pokey, i don't think any of the reaons you gave qualify in this situation. Jay bullys tags alot. 2 and 6 are most relevant I guess.

Jays just slowplaying basically. A nits calling range will be really tight, JJ+ AK probably or maybe a little looser. Also, utg might not be bad enough to call a 3b with a wide range.

pf really depends on the limper, if hes really bad and will call a 3b with a wide range then i hate the pf call

i actually really like calling pre, cos a 17/12 that raises the limper then gets 3-bet by the bb will have a redic tight calling range, and we'll be just like 'wtf?' the whole hand

While I agree with almost all your posts, this simply just isn't true.

i think preflop is fine, esp with your image and vs such a tight opener, would obv be better with AA.

If you check turn, wouldn't a c/r be better on river? He might check behind with like AK, but he is also not likely calling a bet with ace high. And at that point he should be value betting alot of worse hands.

You're right, his range is probably a lot wider because nits suck.
