Default AQ - not sure about the line here

Firstly, my standard line on the flop here is to bet. If I am raised then I might usually call down as long as the turn is safe.
For some reason, I tried the classic WA/WB line as I was scared about the raise from a fairly standard player (17/14/1.5/10 hands). It was only over 10 hands so basically an unknown.
Any thoughts? Having taken that line, I'm not really pleased about having to call this river though and I think I should have taken the bet/fold line?

if you were going to b/f, why not c/r flop, and then lead turn b/f?

altho i would lead flop, lead turn, and call down if raised.

c/r flop and go from there.

if you can't b/f river, then c/c. otherwise you are being taken to valuetown.

yeah, i c/r the flop almost always. as played, i don't hate the river donk but be advised: that line has been soooo overused you can count on being raised most of the time. if you don't want two bb's going in on the river, c/c is often better these days. sometimes i'll take this line to induce a raise so i CAN b/3b the river.

I would not have led the river unless I was intending to fold to a raise. We are only beating hands that may be at the bottom of his range, such as AJ and 99-. The 6 combos of AQ, for a split, looks like our best hope.
