If it becomes public knowledge that Absolute has endorsed people playing on rigged accounts for them then its more than likely that it will pull up its roots and seize all the funds it has.

rofl, where do you ppl come up with this stuff?

AP will flat out deny it and maybe most of 2+2 will boycott AP. Then the games get super soft and ppl drift back.

[/ QUOTE ]
i doubt it. even if the games do get soft, nobody wants to risk someone SEEING THEIR CARDS when they play. esp since absolute is going to deny everything if they even respond to this and we'll never know how these guys cheated and if the problem has been fixed.

I wouldn't say it's more than likely necessarily, but sure that's possible.

Is AP traded on a stock exchange anywhere or is 100% privately owned? If privately owned, then what's to stop someone there from taking the money and running? Prob not much.

The river AF issue is as close a smoking gun as it gets.... even those with a shred of doubt as to the legitimacy of the claims in this thread could not possibly explain the river AF numbers.... Would love to see an official AP statement but doubt one will come (unless their official statement ends up being "Doors Closed. Thanks for the money!")

I think it's quite probable that there are numerous of these accounts floating around at the lower to mid-stakes games at AP, but with more intelligent people utilising the advantage in a way which wouldn't arouse so much suspicion.

This guy seems to have stumbled upon something huge, but thankfully for greed and stupidity, he's jumped into the biggest games where (a). players will notice extremely bizarre play immediately and (b). communities will listen to these players.

A common rebuttal to claims of being cheated is often "Why would someone donk around in x stakes when he could play 200/400 if he could see holecards?".. It would seem wise to me to just keep my cheating fairly low-key if I had that advantage.

Since a decent chunk of the evidence is already here, what kind of dramabomb-like material is in the mods thread? Plz to be not teasing your loyal 2+2 members.

ive skim read some of this and was never really fully convinced. if this hand history is true, then without a doubt there is a problem.

unless this is a huge early april fool's joke.

[/ QUOTE ]

John Kane your getting levelled, the posted hand was on FTP not AP. Also this hand has been discuss ad. nauseum

[/ QUOTE ]

ah lol yeah.

if i was some upcoming pro who had climbed the limits and then ended out losing a [censored] load on high stakes on absolute i would definitely spend what left by hiring someone to break mark seif arms and legs.

if i was this mark guy i would be worried for my personal safety. i'm not suggesting we do this, but you cant [censored] loads of people over for tens/hundreds of thousands of dollars and expect to get away with it.

that TLK hand is a clear mis-click. just planned to call him down. If he can see his hole cards he would never ever call in that spot. can't believe that hand keeps getting brought up every time something strange is happening somewhere else

AP/UB is private. In fact UB was publicly traded pre UIGEA. The merger was done to prevent shareholders from Exscapa (UB's former parent company) from being exposed to the UIGEA. Basically it made it so they could keep taking US players.
