River decision with set
Artichoke Joe's 15/30. I'm a tourist to the area, been at the table one orbit. Villan has been loose (played half his hands) preflop, haven't seen him raise postflop in the 10 hands I've been there for.
One limper to me, I raise KK. Both blinds and limper see K42 rainbow flop. Checked to me, I bet, SB and limper call. Turn 9 completing rainbow. Check, I bet, both call. River 5. Check, I bet, SB raises, limper folds. I...? What hands might villain have? -Curtis |

Re: River decision with set
[ QUOTE ]
What hands might villain have? [/ QUOTE ] doesn't matter cause we have the 3rd nuts and no matter what we're losing money if he as A3/36. 3town. and fwiw, SB is an idiot if he's checkraising the river with the straight because he shuts the other player out. he should bet/3bet. so that's even more reason to reraise. |

Re: River decision with set
I weighted his range too heavily to A3 and called; he had 55 for the rivered set. Hindsight said I should have considered a 3-bet, but I wanted non-results-oriented opinions.
Thanks for the feedback. |
