Question about large cashouts in Canada
I asked this in the legislation forum but I think this forum is more appropriate...
It's my understanding that sums of money in excess of $10,000 are normally declared to customs before being brought into the country or else the money can be seized. Would this apply to a cashout from a poker site in excess of $10k? Also, are there any tax implications in making regular bank deposits of this magnitude in Canada? |

Re: Question about large cashouts in Canada
The 10k limitation is in regards to cash transactions, as long as they are not mailing you a box of money you have nothing to be concerned about.
