Re: Can I fold anywhere here?
If you believe the villian has aaxx without diamond flush draw, why not raise his flop bet. I cant see any check/fold senarios.

Re: Can I fold anywhere here?
The flop and the river are both good spots to fold. Defintely the river I throw it away. Your up against a boat or an ace high flush way too often here.

Re: Can I fold anywhere here?
The only reason you're playing the hand is the two jacks. So when you fail to flop a jack that should be it for the hand.
I would fold this preflop from the big blind and play the next hand. The deuce really sucks for your hand. |

Re: Can I fold anywhere here?
Preflop ok. You should fold on flop, turn and river. Flop call would be reasonable, if you think he'll slow down without legitimate hand. However opponents aggression factor is very high and it is quite propable he'll continue firing with or without hand. Your hand isn't good enough (even if you hit your flush) for calling close to pot sized bets on turn and on river without J appearing. If you think he has been continuation betting too much and you haven't lately been playing back against him, you could consider check-raising the flop and hope that opponent gives up.

I very rarely defend with this hand. I'm ok with the hand postflop.

Villian is 35/28/3.7 but only over ~90 hands. [/ QUOTE ] Hi, coupla things.. 90 hands is plenty in evaluating PF play.. VPIP and raise % are both percentages, and therefore, can be fairly accurately estimated after 30 or so hands. I think you need to play this hand differently.. I'm not sure how I play it in the heat of the battle but I think I play the flop quite differently.. maybe a check raise as mentioned earlier.. (PF is fine for me.) |

raise or bail on the flop, I don't like just calling.

Re: Can I fold anywhere here?
Preflop is a bit questionable.
c/c is a bad line, try and find out early, bet out on the flop or c/r. c/c is just too fishy. Calling down is setting money on fire due to the reasons highlighted previously. JT |
