Default 50NL - 75o flops two pair, line check

No reads on button. SB seems like a fairly competent post-flop player.

If anyone has comments on flop and turn those are welcome ofcrouse, but I think they are both standard.

When the SB called the turn I feared he might have a set. When he checked river I thought he prolly didn't have a set because he would have to lead river if he did. So I figured I had the best hand and bet.

When river got raised I was like WTF and called because, well I wanted to be a hero I guess.

Looking back now I think folding to his raise would have been better, as I can't really think of anything I beat here (perhaps AJ/AT/53/73 ?).

All comments welcome.

wow, i dont see anyway how that T helped him , maybe 7T, maybe he called with JT on the flop and got lucky maybe slowplayed str8 all the way to the riv ,TT maybe ...this is probably fold but i call out of curiosity rly

edit/ looking at the brd again he would have raised on the turn if he had a set or str8 draw .....his line is very strange ...wow idk what he could have here , rly

Hmm weird spot. Flop bet seems fine, 2 callers, they have something so pot turn. river I probably c/c. Only hands he raises here are TT(Unlikely) T7, JT, and 89. I have a feeling its 89. It's a fold imo.

i was thinking 89 too as i was watching this hand. true it may not be exactly the right odds to be playing there, but a gut shot (double gutter on the turn) that hits a straight there will put a 4 card straight on the board (with 89 being teh uber nutz). i'd say 89 too, or 107, but most likely 89.

It really depends what villain's completing range is from SB.

If he's a loose donk then hands like J7 or T7 come into play. But if he's that bad, then it's possible he's donking off here with like 37 or A7 or something as well.

If he's a little bit tighter, then 89, 33, 55, 46s, or even 77 are the only things that really make sense.

I'm mostly just listing hands that beat us...I have no idea what this guy is doing, but nothing really makes a ton of sense, so I probably assume he has me beat and fold. Even getting just over 2:1, I can't imagine a worst hand taking this line.

I can't imagine SB going for a check-raise bluff here. I really felt like he had 89, too.

your probably beaten by a higher two pair or set. there is alsight possibility your opponent had 8,9, looking for a 6, and instead drew to his backdoor.

89 is the only hand I could come up with as well.

and he's not solid postflop lol.
