tenth year corporate lawyer at huge firm, making 250k a year doing deals says to me company x (trading at $13 a share) is a bigger company than company y (trading at less) because it has a higher stock price.

i ask her how many shares are outstanding and she looks at me like i'm an alien and she says what does it matter, company x has a higher stock price.

Also someone said there isn't enough info. He's right, I mean if ABC is a subprime stock vs say a Tech Stock well I think it makes huge difference.

Sell your shares for $4k, buy 100 shares for $2k. You have exactly what you had before plus $2k. Monopoly man is basically giving you $2k. Any girl who does not understand this I would use for sex til I got bored, then dump immediately.
