Q:

How much better in terms of health is this supposed to be for you, compared to say, smoking from a piece? This might be a really stupid question, but if nothing is on fire then theoretically you're only filling your lungs with THC and not with smoke?

I'm an endurance athlete (rowing) but I still like to get high sometimes. I don't smoke that often (maybe 2-3 times a month) and don't really think I've noticed decreased performance, but I couldn't be sure.

It lowers the amounts of co and tar you inhale. Smoking 2-3 times a month is over the long term not generally harmful, and probably not very risky either.

I would'nt get anything besides volcano. If you smoke a lot, there is nothing better than mixing in or even replacing pipe. It is much easier on the lungs imo and generally a different high. They claim it helps with efficiency but I'm pretty sure I disagree with that. Would say great for traveling too, but I just got mine sntched by security in tulsa oklahoma. We took the opportunity to upgrade to the new digital Damn I cant wait to get home now.

You won't regret this purchase.

a lot better... the smoking part is what's bad for you, thc doesn't even have a known toxicity level, it makes you kinda dumb but isn't otherwise physically harmful. much less so than alcohol fwiw.

also, i don't smoke pot anymore (for years now) so don't think i'm just a pro-weed pothead. but it's much less harmful than smoking it, or drinking booze, etc.

A buddy of mine who smokes more than Bob Marley ever did (really) is big time into mountain climbing and he looooves his vaporizer.(not the volcano) Says his lungs feel like new so apparently it works. He also says the high is better. I suppose if I smoked (don't anymore) I'd use one. There's actually a battery powered portable one that is very expensive but seems to be worth it since vaps are not exactly subtle - you know - like when you are driving down the highway on the way to a Roger Waters concert or something.

Yes. That's it. It is, if you smoke pot and can afford one then buy it.

there's an old thread where someone did a lengthy review of a couple vaporizers. it was very well done, convinced me to buy one and I didn't even smoke.

[/ QUOTE ]

Apparently the thread had even more persuasion in it...

its definitely worth it for your lungs (i've already noticed a difference even though I only use my vape for about half my smoking), but i dont like the vape high as much as i like normal highs...w/e
