I like this call when you're an unknown, especially if the player knows it. These sort of hands happened to me a bunch when I moved up or took shots at NL400 and NL600 and they were bluffs a good deal of the time. Bet flop next time so river isn't so hard [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I don't think you should bet this river if you aren't calling a c/r.

wtf, what is all this bs talk about not betting the river if you're not calling a c/r. how often does he c/r river for like 5x pot??? this is an easy fold against 99% of players but i guess "gp is sick" so we have to consider a call or something. i'd still fold most of the time, and there is nothing inconsistent about bet/folding this river at all.

Come on, guys. This is such an easy call and I was thinking that before I saw the results. He checked three times and then he suddenly decides to move in - I mean WTF? It doesn't make any sense to me. It smells like a bluff. I call here everytime.

nice call. i dont know if i wouldve done the same. but if he had JT he'd prolly bet the turn, if he had a set he would've done the same hoping u had something.
