No self-respecting online poker player would ever use them. Any player that does is cheating and contributes to the negative perception of online poker. I would suggest you rethink the poker bot issue.

I dont see how bots are cheating its not like it can see others hole cards. Bots are probaly going to be apart of internet poker for a long time and are growing immensely. They arent cheating though cause they dont break any rules. They just play.

Sites have had regulations written into the terms and services agreements to prohibit bots and any player caught playing with one would be banned from the site. Any respectable poker site would have this prohibition included - if it didn't, I wouldn't play there (not that I have been playing online that much, but that is a different issue as well). Bots are used by cheaters and if you are considering using one, you sir, are a cheater. Besides, you wouldn't really need one, do you? There's not much you haven't seen.

I find a lot of bots on the micro limits at AP and am able to make a decent amount of money whenever I find myself sitting alone at a table with them. Not sure if other bots are better but if you are able to figure out how they play than they are easily exploitable.

Haven't met one for long though, maybe they've improved (and that's why I haven't noticed). Get to know about a bots play is atleast as exciting as getting a good read on someone and beeing able to just pick him off! [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
