Then they charged me the $20 for making more than one withdrawal a month. What a joke!! $20 to wait 4 to 6 weeks for my money.

I understand the frustration, but you aren't helping the problem. As stated in posts above, only so many checks can be processed per day. If you and others feel you have to withdrawl weekly, that's four times a month, creating the backlog, and pushing payouts back for everyone.

If everyone cashed out less frequently (but for larger amounts), perhaps everyone would be receiving their payments faster. This is why they're implementing the fee, not to profit off it, but to be able to provide faster service to everyone else.

And, Bodog, unlike FT has stated for awhile it was going to take a month (20 business days) to receive a check. You stated you got approved June 18th, nine business days ago and are screaming bloody murder because your money hasn't arrived yet.

It will come. Throwing a temper tantrum and creating a panic among other customers won't help things.

And, I would not fault you if you left for Stars due to their faster payments. That is a legitimate reason, and I too wish bodog were faster. I'm just saying that they have largely been upfront, and no one has not gotten paid yet.

Main differences between bodog and FT are that bodog answers the phones, give answers to the best of their knowledge, or if they don't know, say as much. They also don't deny when attempting to cash out that it likely will take a month.

The ideal poker site would have overlays and fishiness like bodog, traffic like Stars, and the customer service of the two combined.

I agree with you about Bodog's great customer service, but they were not up front about the cause of check delays. I could only get the truth after contacting Calvin. I'll admit I was spoiled on getting 3k a week free via WU. My anxiety is not stemming from my 6/18 payout. I made a check request 2/2, after 30 days of nothing, I received an email stating they had processor turnover and were going to EFT my payout to my checking account thru a new processor. I immediately contacted Bodog and just got a WU instead. My anxiety stems from this and just reading in many forums major issues with getting a check from Bodog. The bottom line is I love Bodog, but I really feel though they can do more to pay faster and are not. They make the majority of their money on sports and casino bets and don't payout much there. Poker and poker players are different. Payouts are our paychecks! Like I've said before, they can find processors to take my money fast, they should be able to do the same to pay me MY money. BTW, Bodog told me, its not the number of checks a day, its a set dollar amount a day,(supposively) that their processor will release. So actually, a big one time request is what slows the process more, that should not matter, I should be able to get a payout for whatever and whenever I want. If Pokerstars can do it, why can't Bodog?? I am doing is asking Bodog to step up to the plate. It's my f'n money anyway!! These forum's allow me to vent my frustrations and do effect change, because of this Bodog has changed their vague responses of "it's coming someday" to finally telling us about the processor issues, which they were never up front about. I am the customer! Not vice versa.

I just emailed Bodog to inquire about the discontinuation of the money transfers they used to do, as well as the possibility of other payout options, specifically EPassporte. Here is the text of the email they sent me.

Thank you for contacting Bodog Poker Customer Service.

Due to restrictions in the US at this time money transfer is no
longer an option for deposits or payouts.
We will keep everyone up to date if this changes and if we are able
to offer this option again in the
future.

We are currently in the process of looking for new deposit and payout
options and with the football season
just around the corner, you can expect some new options for Bodog
members very soon. At this time we do
not know whether Epassporte will be one of those options so please
keep checking with us in the near
future.

Thank you again for writing. If you require any further assistance,
please do not hesitate to contact us.

Regards,

Poker Customer Service

It's a shame that after all these months since Neteller went down, Bodog still doesn't have a new processor to keep people from waiting a month to get a check in the mail.

Folks, the problem is and will be that there is a computer the U.S. goverment has access to since 9/11 that tracks all financial movements worldwide. Even though checks are less traceable, (but not non-traceable), if the processors do more volume it is more likely the government will be able to see X money moving from the gaming sites to the payment processors, and then Y money going into people's accounts. They want to get lost in ground clutter, and so are limiting the number of payments they will process. As the federal government would surely consider what they are doing a federal crime, I think this is unavoidable until the political situation changes.
