Default Showdown question

When a two way pot comes down to the river, who is by rule required to show their hand first? If there is a bet and a call, is the initial better technically supposed to show first? And what if action is checked all the way down to the river? Thanks

Default Re: Showdown question

Rules vary between venues. The most typical, standard arrangement is that the last aggressor on the river is required to show first. If there was no betting on the river, then it goes in order of position. At a minority of casinos (the Crown Casino in Melbourne, for instance) showdown always happens in order of position, regardless of the action.
