Default playing on a draw ? comments welcome

Hi. Comments welcome on how i played this hand. I was feeling 'fruity' as it was my last orbit so raised with a hand i would not normally. Also the players were all pretty nitty - no pot for the last 2 orbits had gotten to more than 4xBB.

Comments on postflop/turn play welcome.

Only read is that the BTN is a pretty solid player, but one who likes to flat call my preflop raises (which aren't [/i] that numerous).

I think I like the play on all streets. Maybe I flat call the all in by MP1 hoping to get the BTN to follow suit and pay me as well, but thats not a big deal.
My only question for you now, what do you do if the villain repots the turn on a c/r? Puts you in a tough spot but you still have a load of outs (without knowing he has blockers). The hand looks fine to me, nh, nice pot

Overall I like how you played the hand, although I probably would've just pushed the turn. The Ace is a great card to represent a set of Aces with and you're not folding 12 outs to a push getting at least 4.25:1 anyways, so maximize your FE.

Thanks.

1. I thought about flat-calling on the river, thereby maybe getting something from the BTN. But i knew he would be unlikely to call without the nuts.

2. The check-raise is something that I've rarely come across at .25/.50 - if I was C/R on the turn i'm drawing to really 12 outs? I think if the MP1 pots it i have to call. If the BTN c/raises i may fold. Interesting decision though.

3. i was thinking about pushing the turn A. I would have *normally* been re-popped preflop by any AAxx and as you say i'm not folding here, so perhaps a push would have been good, tho i was wary of the BTN who was capable of flat calling preflop with AAxx.

If this is true, he is not going to call a re-shove. I think I really like the flat call riv now that i think about it

Smallish bet on the turn serves little purpose. Just shove. On the river shoving is fine as its very unlikely the button is folding any hand he would call $10 with for $20.

"If the BTN c/raises i may fold"
guess you mean MP, but that's not important.. you should not fold, regardless of the action, especially if the pot stays 3-way.. you have 12 clean outs for the nuts..
