Default NL25 QQ Overpair, Fold Here Right?

Villian seems good, he's done nothing out of the ordinary, stats 17/12/3 over 181 hands FWIW.
I've been playing something like 30/15/3.
We haven't played a big pot together yet.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.10/$0.25 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $37.15
BB: $28.15
UTG: $25.00
MP: $27.35
CO: $23.70
Hero (BTN): $24.90

Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players)
2 folds, CO raises to $1.00, Hero raises to $2.50, SB calls $2.40, BB folds, CO calls $1.50

Flop: ($7.75) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, CO bets $1.00, Hero raises to $6.50, SB raises all-in to $34.65, CO folds, Hero ???

Is this worse than KK often enough to be a call?

Definite fold, AJ is NOT doing that here. Pot played out exactly as villain would want it if he held a set of 5s, 8s or Js. AA and KK are also possibilities, but I'd be more afraid of the set. I don't see any other potential hands doing this.

def looks like a line a set would take here. I'm thinking a set is more likely, but i wouldn't rule out KK/AA. time to lay it down. if the villain really hasn't been out of line, no reason to think he's stacking off with just a J here, IMO.

SB has a set like all the time, or he's making a weird move that's going to work in this case. snapfold

he's got a set. if he doesn't, you can't profitably call this in the long run anyways. insta-fold.

raise more preflop, to like 4. as played fold, you beat nothing that he has here.

Thanks for the responses,

... Hero calls all-in for $15.90
Uncalled bet of $12.25 returned to SB

Turn: ($53.55) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

River: ($53.55) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $53.55 ($2.65 Rake)

SB had J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a full house, Jacks full of Kings) and WON (+$26.00)
Hero had Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and LOST (-$24.90)

I know it was a terrible call but I kinda needed a bit of flaming so that sinks in, thanks guys.

Its funny how often that weak lead works... weak lead, raise... reraise... all the money gets in.

I use this move a lot always thinking its going to be obvious... yet it works so often.

damn, if i had a set in villain's case i'd consider calling, hoping BB comes along and crai the turn. Pretty much a dream flop.
