Massive drama in Tottenshite. I just saw on ESPN's main page that Paul Robinson and Darren Bent are bitching about the treatment of Jol.

First of all, Robinson should be happy he still starts and Bent should shut up because he's an overrated jackass. Perhaps both players realize if they bring in someone new, both of them aren't likely to play.


Seriously, I know Ramos is now apparently staying at Sevilla, but the rumors I have read said that Spurs had already fired and agree to compensation with Jol, because they thought they had Ramos lined up. Ramos then backed out, so the Spurs board told Jol, 4th place or else! How stupid is this??!?!?

Its not stupid its hilarious. The board has started believing the hype around Spurs. Breaking into the top 4 requires more than one season of splashing the cash, especially when the top 4 (apart from arse) are splashing also as are other teams outside the top 4. Breaking the top 4 is a massive achievement, and spurs have only achieved base camp for the assault on 4th place mountain,nothing more.

I've also interacted with a lot if english fans of different clubs when I lived in the NY/NJ area at NY pubs for saturday morning matches and I hadn't heard them referred to as the scum from non-city of scouser fans. Even when they were drunk and couldn't care less about what I thought, they never generally referred to us as the scum
