Emmitt bothers me by smiling. Why is he happy, he's making an ass of himself on national TV and should realize that he'll never be heard from again after this year. THAT SHOULD NOT MAKE YOU HAPPY.

Steve Young's utter contempt for Emmitt is the best thing ever.

I don't hate TK in the booth nearly as much as everybody else. I think he's pretty good at doing what he's there to do, it's just that I'm not sure that what he's there to do is really a value add for a football broadcast.

As an aside, what would the worst combo of 4 guys be ?

Kornheiser + Emmitt Smith, need 2 more

[/ QUOTE ]

Kornheiser, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin, Skip Bayless.

OMG, I'd puke.

Well, that crew could use some yelling so I'd add Michael Irvin and then Steve Young so that he can call Irvin retarded

Keyshawn Johnson would 100% need to be in this broadcast team.

A couple years back or whenever it was, for the MNF doubleheader they put a 3 man team together with Jaws and Vermeil doing the color. They were great together.

I really enjoy PTI because of the chemistry, and I think replacing Tony with Dick Vermeil would be a huge upgrade for the same reason.

He is good while making 2-3 sentence arguments in a studio. Him doing a broadcast would be such a disaster it would be awesome.

This was a great team for football nerds. The thing is that we'll watch regardless. ESPN's trying to get a new demo to watch, and that's the demo that Tony in theory touches.

I do think it's a shame that Vermeil isn't doing games somewhere, he's very good.

I want the broadcast team that did the Angels/Mariners game in Naked Gun:

Something like, "Hi everybody, this is Curt Gowdy...along with Jim Palmer, Dick Enberg, Mel Allen, Dick Vitale,
Tim McCarver, and Dr. Joyce Brothers."

I also think the Bob Costas/Al Michaels announcing duo from Baseketball should be considered.
