100NL, 99 gets minraised on Qhigh flop
Villain is 31/14/3. I've seen him make small bets on the flop and turn, followed by an overbet on the river. Also in one hand vs me (about a week before this hand), he instacall preflop, instacalled on the flop, and then bet 2/3P when checked to on the turn.
In this hand, his minraise was kind of quick. I'd fold. You're hand's not getting any better and they never seem to check the turn after this, do they?

I'd consider raising before calling. If he has a worse hand, I'll probably end up folding by the river anyway if I take a passive line here. If he has a Q, I'd be spewing by raising.

I'd fold. You're hand's not getting any better and they never seem to check the turn after this, do they? [/ QUOTE ] No, they really don't. =) That's why I always hate it when people say "call and re-eval" because 90% of the time you hit a blank and they just bet again. OP, if you think you're getting messed with, there's 2 good lines: 1) if you've actually seen him 3 barrel like this with ATC, just call down as long as the board doesn't get too much worse. 2) if he IS able to fold and isn't one who's a dick waver, then pop him on the flop where you're most likely to be ahead. If he can't fold, either call down or fold and wait for a better spot. |
