Thinking of buying a Lexus IS 350 Need Advice

I am thinking about buying a lexus IS350, but Im a little scared now after reading about some people having problems with the breaks. I cant imagine Lexus would put out a low quality car. I have always owned BMWs but I am thinking about switching to Lexus. I have always been happy with my 5 series BMW performance, but I am a little upset with the quality of service for the past year or so. I drive a lot so warrenty will only last so long. My 5 series cost a bundle to maintain and then I had to put up with rude service people.

What do you guys think about Lexus? Is is compariable to BMW?
