Default Over/NFD in 3-bet pot that BB cold-called...wtf?

CO is like 38/21 over a smallish sample and is stealing 55% of the time. I've 3-bet him like twice before and he practically insta-folded each time. I meant to make it 13.5 pre...but I don't play Absolute much and [censored] it up. Not a big deal though. Cold-caller is completely unknown. He just sat down a few hands ago.

aww een

edit: my mistake I thought hero had $70. I dont like betting effective $100 into $37 pot. Sometimes I bet $22-24, and take it from there. I dont mind a CRAI, less of the time c/c. Rarely c/f.

Not a bad spot to open shove the flop at all. I'd do this with overpairs on occasion as well. You could just bet right out, if I did I'd just bet $30 which should rep a big pair pretty well. Only problem is being called sucks since we're in no mans land on the turn when it bricks, that's why I like just shoving without knowing more about the players.

$30 is good, and probably won't put you in a bad spot. BB is in the middle, and only has $50-some left at this point, so if he pushes, it will probably get CO out of the way.

You could also bet smaller so that you could reopen betting if you wanted to after BB moves AI.

Open-shove. Ime opponents are more likely to push over a smaller bet on the flop than calling a push.

Crai commits him in a spot where you don't want him committed.

That's kind of what I was thinking.

For you guys saying open-shove...do you really do it that often w/ overpairs?. I mean in this spot it's a pretty massive over-bet.
